How to make a custom metal stencil?

Why create a custom stencil?

Making a stencil will make your work easier by allowing you to reproduce the same pattern multiple times, more or less complex, using paint. Acting as a guide, it ensures a uniform result with clean and regular markings.

Several types of stencils exist: paper or cardboard stencils are single-use. Plastic stencils have a limited lifespan. That's why we offer to make your metal stencils, which are more resistant and reusable indefinitely.

What material for my custom stencil?

The materials for making a stencil must be lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and thin to facilitate application.

The ideal would be to make your stencil from aluminum or stainless steel sheets.

How to manufacture my stencil online?

After accessing our online configurator, create your metal stencil in just 4 steps:

Configure my custom text stencil

Step 1: select the material and desired thickness
Step 2: preferably choose the basic shape "Rectangle" (Rectangle) with dimensions larger than your stencil (you must include the edges of your metal plate)
Step 3: for a metal letter stencil, insert the desired text (a single font is predefined to ensure perfect letter cutting), then adjust the size
Step 4: position your text in the center of the stencil

What software for making stencils?

To create your stencil in DXF format, you must first create your design in a drawing software like AutoCAD or Adobe Illustrator.

Note: to create a DXF file for a stencil, it's not enough to draw a simple shape. You must include it within an outer shape that will act as the plate. Visual difference:

Nothing simpler, you just need to place it on the surface of your choice. Whether the support is metal or wood, to prevent a stencil from bleeding, you must secure it with adhesive tape.

Bonjour,
A l'occasion de notre mariage, nous aimerions personnaliser un souvenir, qui est une pochette de chiffon à lunettes en tissus , qui fait 5 cm / 3.5 cm. Pour se faire, nous avons pensé à un pochoir avec une forme de coeur et à l'intérieur : nos initiales et la date du mariage.
Avec ce pochoir, nous allons pouvoir mettre de la peinture blanche, qui résiste à l'eau pour appliquer l'inscription sur le tissus.
De quelle matière devrait être, selon vous, le pochoir ? en bois ? en métal ? en alu ? en PVC ?

Je prépare l'ouverture d'un restaurant Japonais sur Monaco, et j'aimerais créer des pochoirs avec notre logo pour différents départements (bar, café, dessert ...)

Bonjour Madame monsieur je serais intéressé pour la fabrication d’un pochoir personnalisé à mon logo et au nom de ma team pour le logo il devrait être de 5 cm de diamètre et pour le nom de Team Pour les lettres 5 mm de haut et la longueur environ 5 cm
