Why choose a marine grade (316L) mirror polished stainless steel U channel?
Marine grade stainless steel, or 316L, contains molybdenum, providing superior resistance to chlorides and salt. In a mirror-polished finish, it offers a luxurious reflective look while its smooth surface limits dirt buildup and makes rinsing easier.
Excellence for nautical and coastal use
This profile is ideal for framing glass on boats, finishing outdoor furniture in coastal areas, or creating decorative rails in pool environments. Its mirror shine does not tarnish, even when exposed to sea spray, ensuring exceptional longevity.
Installation & maintenance in saline environments
To maintain its properties, always use 316 stainless steel fasteners during installation. Although highly resistant, regular rinsing with fresh water is recommended to remove salt deposits and preserve the mirror shine. Avoid contact with standard steel to prevent carbon steel contamination.
