Creation of a custom stainless steel table top!

Lately, our Steelster Hervé wanted to give a 3rd life to his old table. The top of his kitchen table had seen better days (we don't know what it went through in its 1st and 2nd lives, but it must have eaten (arf arf arf ^^), it was time to bow out! That's when stainless steel made its entrance, rather than going for a wooden board, Hervé decided to make his table more modern by integrating a custom stainless steel table top.

Wood and metal together?

This is no longer new to you, the combination of metal and wood is a sure bet! Used as a kitchen table or, depending on the occasion, a dining room table, he naturally turned to brushed 304L stainless steel for its hygienic, food-safe qualities, and especially for its unparalleled ease of cleaning!

A simple custom metal sheet, it was too simple, so to really get the message across, he decided to add some sweet words. With our configurator, our Steelster was able to customize his table just as he dreamed! After removing the original central shelf and giving it a little paint job, he installed his brand new custom stainless steel table top, all shiny and new 👌

How to make a stainless steel table top?

Take the measurements of your table top
Go to www.john-steel.com to choose the thickness of your brushed stainless steel sheet
Select the basic shape (rectangle or circle) and enter your dimensions in millimeters (e.g., 1800 x 850 mm)
Add your text, choose the font (Arston in this case), text size, and its placement on the stainless steel sheet

I create my custom table top

Stainless steel letters on my table, but not only that!

Thanks to our online configurator, you can cut out letters as well as numbers. Do you remember my aluminum clock? In the same way as for Hervé and his table, you just need to choose your material, your shape, and insert your text, it's that simple! 😁

✔️ You can also cut out individual letters. This way, you can arrange them as you wish. Here is an example of cut stainless steel letters to place above your backsplash.
