Create a custom brake disc for your bike

Like Eric, do you want to have a unique bike that reflects your image? Then don't hesitate to customize your road bike with a custom-made stainless steel brake disc. We even had the mustache version, and what about you, what will you choose?

Whether you're a fan of speed racing, mountain biking, or just a handyman, you might want to customize your bike with custom-made accessories. This was the case for Eric, who wanted to try two versions for his brake disc. But here's what his original brake disc looks like: a Shimano SM-RT66 in steel, about 2 mm thick and 160 mm in diameter.

After taking all the measurements of his disc, Eric started creating a first version of his custom brake disc in stainless steel. He went for a rather sober 12-spoke design.

He then made a second version, a little more personalized with a mustache cutout all over the disc. We are completely fans!

And here is the result once mounted on the bike. A great way to enjoy beautiful rides with John Steel 😉

Très bonne question. Notre Steelster Eric a utilisé de l'inox brossé, pour réaliser ce disque de frein. (voici le lien de l'inox en question : https://www.john-steel.com/fr/inox/8-plaque-inox-304l-brosse-et-protege-par-un-film.html)
