COVID-19: Production and orders resume !!
On March 17, production of John Steel was paused like many other companies in France.
The orders had to be stopped, the time to put in place new sanitary rules for our teams so that they can work safely. It's done ! And we are happy to announce that since April 28 our factories have resumed their activity.
In order to keep you informed of the development of the situation at John Steel, and to answer your questions concerning the processing of your order or the shipment of your package, we have set up this FAQ.

My order was placed before March 17th. When will I receive it?
Orders placed before March 17 will be processed according to the option you chose when placing the order. The production deadlines will be respected but the delivery deadlines are not guaranteed. For any questions about the status of your order, you can contact our customer service from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on 0 800 746 548, or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I have placed an order on D + 3 since resuming your activity. When will I receive it?
If you chose delivery in 3 days after April 28, your order will be processed by our team as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee delivery within 3 days under current transport conditions.
If I don't receive my order in 3 days, can I get a refund for the boost option?
By choosing the boost, your order will be treated as a priority in our workshops. Unfortunately, due to containment, we cannot guarantee delivery times. If your order is not urgent, we advise you to choose the standard production option on D + 8, or delivery on D + 15 which allows you to save money.

I would like information on delivery methods:
> All of our service providers have taken measures since the start of the epidemic to adapt their services and preserve everyone's health. Please respect these rules, at the risk of not being able to receive your package.
→ Have you chosen delivery by DPD? You benefit from contactless delivery to your home. On the day of delivery, you will be asked for a 4-digit confidential code that you will have received by email and / or SMS (on the day your package is shipped?)
→ Have you chosen delivery by France Express? The last 4 digits of your telephone number (landline or mobile) will be requested upon delivery. You will then need to sign the delivery slip using your own pen.
I would like to have it delivered to a relay point. Is it possible ?
For the moment, the relay point delivery service is suspended. We will keep you informed of developments. You can always choose home delivery via one of our carriers.
Is your workshop withdrawal service still available?
Due to the current health situation and the safety rules implemented in our factories to ensure the protection of our teams, withdrawal from the workshop is temporarily suspended. In the meantime, you can choose home delivery of your custom cut.
Is charter delivery available?
This service is suspended for the moment. We currently limit orders to a maximum of 30 kg for parts over 1800 mm long.
Do you still ship internationally during this period?
All delivery methods (excluding charter) are maintained under the usual conditions. (link to the page in question). Delivery times are not guaranteed.

Is it still possible to cut wood?
Yes, the custom wood cutting service is available. However, due to a reduced team in the workshops, the shipment of custom wooden parts is carried out once a week.
Is it still possible to split DXF files? Is it still possible to use the configurator to cut custom metal?
Our custom metal cutting services are both available to allow you to make your most beautiful creations. Only delivery services are limited (no relay point, no withdrawal from the workshop, no charter).

How do you guarantee the safety of your employees and of packages delivered to your home?
Our SteelTeam provides e-commerce in telework and remains available to answer you from Monday to Friday from 9h to 17h.
All operators in the production and shipping chain wear masks and gloves for optimal protection. All workstations are also disinfected twice a day.
Finally, in order to limit contacts within the company and ensure the safety of our customers, withdrawal from the workshop is suspended for the moment.
